In a Big Blow to former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sri Uddhav Thackeray, today the Election Commission of India (ECI) has ruled that the Eknath Shinde faction would be now known as the party 'Shiv Sena'
Sri Eknath Shinde, the current Chief Minister of Maharashtra, engineered a rebellion within the erstwhile Shiv Sena, headed by Uddhav Thackeray, the former chief minister of Maharashtra.
In addition to the original party name Sri Eknath Shinde's faction will also get the famous 'bow and arrow' original symbol of the party.
