The best-selling author of “MAHARANAS: A Thousand Year War for Dharma”
“Maharanas” is the story of the greatest Hindu dynasty in history. For more than one millennium, the Sisodiya Rajputs of Mewar fought and refused to surrender to the barbarians even once. Enemy changed names and colors with time but their purpose was destruction of Dharma. They attacked relentlessly for over one thousand years. Mewar was besieged and plundered more than once but the Maharanas never gave up.
The author, Dr. Omendra Ratnu is a practicing ENT surgeon in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He is also a founding member of “Nimittekam”, a registered society which has rescued more than 10,000 persecuted religious minorities from India’s neighboring countries and working actively to resettle them. He is a passionate Dharmic warrior who brings a surgically precise approach to a complex topic. Years of ground-breaking research went into the making of “Maharanas: A Thousand Year War for Dharma”.
