India seeks $26bn of private nuclear power investments, sources say

India plans to attract $26 billion in private investment to its nuclear energy sector. Firms like Reliance Industries, Tata Power, Adani Power, and Vedanta Ltd may invest about $5.3 billion each. The government aims to build 11,000 MW of new nuclear power generation capacity by 2040 in a hybrid model of project development.
