Reliance plans to invest $2.40 billion in West Bengal over three years

Reliance Industries Chairman and MD, Mukesh Ambani, announced an additional investment of Rs 20,000 crore for West Bengal over the next three years. The investment will focus on digital life solutions, retail, and bio-energy. Reliance Industries has already invested Rs 45,000 crore in the state and plans to further enhance digital solutions, expand its retail footprint, and establish compressed bio-gas plants. Ambani also mentioned that Reliance Foundation will renovate and restore the iconic Kalighat Temple in Kolkata.
