Buffett’s Berkshire Posts Record Cash as Operating Earnings Rise

Bengaluru airport ties up with CleanMax for solar-wind energy

Bangalore International Airport signs a 25-year power purchase agreement with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions for a 45.9 MW Solar-Wind Captive Power Project, yielding 90 GWh of renewable energy annually and reducing CO2 emissions. The project includes a solar-wind farm in Jagaluru, Karnataka, with solar and wind power plants. It will generate 58.3 million units of solar power.

Sugar companies' stocks decline after govt raises fair price to Rs 340 per quintal

Shares of Sugar companies tumbled up to 3 per cent in the morning trade on Thursday after the government announced a hike in the minimum price that mills have to pay to sugarcane growers for the 2024-25 season starting October. The scrip of Rana Sugars plunged 3.21 per cent to Rs 25.35 apiece, Mawana Sugars slumped 2.81 per cent to Rs 101.70.

Stock market today: Sensex jumps over 500 points; Nifty hits all-time high

Banking stocks led as Nifty closed at a new life high level on Thursday while Sensex increased by 535.15 points to close at 73,158.24 and Nifty gained 180.1 points to 22,235.15. Both Indian indices opened marginally higher, showing signs of recovery after breaking a six-session winning trend and Sensex rose 7.58 points to 72,630.67 points.
