Released on October 10, Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' is a commercial success with Rs 76 crore on its opening day. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the action drama follows IPS officer Athiyan. The film's digital rights were bought by Amazon Prime for Rs 65 crore and will debut on the platform after a month.
