Komalam began her cinematic journey at 16, starring in 'Vanamala' (1951) and 'Marumakal' (1952) alongside Prem Nazir. Her notable roles included parts in 'Newspaper Boy' and 'Aathmasanthi'. Despite her brief career from 1951 to 1955, her impact on Malayalam cinema remains significant.
