Rahul Dravid has returned as head coach of former IPL champions Rajasthan Royals, leading the team's think-tank alongside captain Sanju Samson. Following a successful stint with the Indian team, including a T20 World Cup win, has Dravid re-joined RR. It was Dravid who first noticed Samson's potential during the 2013 RR trials and advised RR to bring him to the fold.
