Cars may be your worst privacy 'nightmare' as Tesla, Nissan among 'creepiest', claims report

A research report by Mozilla claims that modern cars are collecting more personal data than necessary and using it for purposes other than operating the vehicle and managing the customer relationship. The report reveals that almost 84% of car brands can share data with other businesses and service providers, with 19% able to sell the data. The research also highlights that car companies like Kia and Nissan collect information about users' sex life. Tesla's autopilot feature failed on all privacy tests conducted by Mozilla. The report concludes that car companies' privacy policies do not provide a comprehensive understanding of data usage and sharing.
