Open AI’s trademark application for “GPT” has been denied by UPSTO

OpenAI's trademark application for ChatGPT and GPT has been denied by the USPTO. OpenAI can appeal to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board within three months. The rejection was due to the terms being 'merely descriptive' and not meeting application requirements.
