WeWork, the flexible office space startup, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US. The company, which was once valued at $47 billion, has listed its assets at over $15 billion. WeWork India, however, clarified that it is a separate entity from WeWork Global and the bankruptcy filing will not affect its operations. The CEO of WeWork India stated that they will continue to serve their members and partners as usual. WeWork clarified that the bankruptcy filing only applies to its locations in the US and Canada.
Samsung has launched a new storage variant of its affordable Galaxy A05s smartphone in India. The 4GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499 and comes in Light Green, Light Violet, and black color options. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has issued blocking orders against the illegal Mahadev Book online betting app following investigations by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The app is operated by Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal from Dubai, and links have been found to be connected to police, politicians, and state officials. MeitY has also blocked 22 other illegal betting apps and websites.
