Poco has introduced a new storage variant of its Poco M6 Pro smartphone in India. The new variant features 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and is priced at Rs 10,999. The smartphone comes with a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, 5000mAh battery, and a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera. It also supports 5G connectivity and runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14.
Apple has launched its new iPhone 15 series consisting of four smartphones - iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Pre-orders for these devices will start in India today at 5.30 pm. The phones can be pre-ordered from various retailers including Apple online store, Flipkart, and authorized Apple retail stores. The prices for the iPhone 15 series in India range from Rs 79,900 to Rs 1,99,900.

Google Photos has started rolling out its locked folder sync feature to more users globally. The feature allows users to sync hidden photos and videos from the locked folder to other devices linked to the same Google Account. It provides the option to turn on backup or not back up, and once activated, all data will start uploading to the cloud. The locked folder can be accessed through the sidebar on photos.google.com, requiring users to log in with 2-Step Verification.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT services company, plans to take locally developed 5G radio network gear global, particularly to the US market. The company aims to qualify Tejas Networks' N78 5G radios for opportunities worldwide, including the US. TCS contributes to the development of 5G and 6G specifications and participates in multinational forums. Tejas Networks, which was acquired by Tata Sons in 2021, is currently supplying radio equipment for India's public sector Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) 4G network program. The US has invited Indian companies to support its Rip and Replace program to remove Chinese telecom gear.
HonorTech has re-entered the Indian market and introduced the Honor 90 5G smartphone. The phone features a 200MP primary camera, 4K video recording capabilities, and a quad-curved screen. It will be available in three colors and two storage variants, with prices starting at Rs 37,999. Sony has introduced a foster program for their Aibo robot dogs to help find new homes for ageing robots. The program allows owners who have cancelled their Aibo Cloud Plan to donate their robots back to Sony, who will refurbish them as necessary and donate them to medical facilities, foster homes, and other organizations. The aim is to make Aibo more sustainable and provide emotional support to those in need. Sony plans to charge a fee for this service, which will be used to maintain and repair other Aibo units.
