Meta removes over 21 million 'bad content' on Facebook, Instagram in India: Report

In its monthly report, Meta revealed that it purged over 15.8 million pieces of content on Facebook and over 5.9 million pieces on Instagram in India during July. The report also highlighted the tools available for users to address content reports, such as reporting channels and avenues for resolving account hacking issues. Meta received 3,200 reports on Facebook and 20,146 reports on Instagram through the Indian grievance mechanism.

WhatsApp monthly report: Company bans over 72 lakh accounts in India

WhatsApp has released its 'Monthly India Report' for September, revealing that it banned over 7.2 million malicious accounts in India between July 1 and July 31, 2023. Out of these accounts, over 3.1 million were proactively banned before any user reports. The report also stated that WhatsApp received 11,067 reports in July and took action on 72 of them.

The series will include models suitable for general productivity, browsing, entertainment, coding, design, editing, and gaming. The laptops will feature a lightweight aluminum alloy build, Full HD displays, 65W type-C charging, up to 10 hours of battery life, and will run on Windows 11 OS. Wings aims to offer quality products at affordable prices and plans to manufacture the laptops in India from November.
