Goyal pays respect to Ratan Tata

Trade and Commerce minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday paid tribute to industry leader Ratan Tata, who passed away recently, while speaking at the First Annual Symposium hosted by the Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM).Goyal called Tata a doyen of industry and said that he was the flagbearer of 'Brand India'. He said "At the outset, I'd like to pay my respects to Ratan Tata, a doyen of industry, somebody who led from the front took charge under very difficult circumstances but truly created an international conglomerate which makes India proud not only for the achievements of the group, but for taking the Brand India across the world, across borders, and truly showcasing to the world that we can do it, that we have the ability to make a difference to the world.""Also, while being a tough taskmaster, he did it very, in a very kind manner which gives us a lot of lessons on leadership," he further said.
