The newly built integrated terminal at the Surat International Airport is being denoted as an integral part of the Gujarat city's infrastructural boost. PM Narendra Modi has called it "a major infrastructural upgrade for Surat, boosting ‘Ease of Living’ and ensuring greater commerce for the city and surrounding areas."It is to be noted that as of now, Surat connects to 14 domestic cities including Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa, Goa Mopa, Belgaum, Pune, Jaipur, Udaipur, Indore, Diu and Kishangarh.
