SpiceJet launches 32 new winter flights

SpiceJet on Monday announced the launch of 32 new flights as part of its winter schedule, which began on October 27, 2024. With 30 flights in the domestic sector and two international flights connecting Delhi and Phuket with non-stop daily service, the airline aims to boost connectivity and provide passengers with more travel options.The new routes include flights from Mumbai to Patna, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Goa, and expanded connections from Patna to Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. Passengers traveling from Chennai can now fly to Port Blair and Pune, while new routes from Delhi include flights to Phuket, Amritsar, and Gorakhpur. The schedule also connects Kolkata to Port Blair.Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet said, "We are delighted to announce the addition of 32 new flights to our network. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing seamless connectivity, affordable air travel and an enhanced customer experience to our passengers. With improved schedules and increased frequencies, we aim to deliver greater reliability and convenience, ensuring our passengers reach their destinations efficiently."Maharshi added, "As we continue to grow our fleet and operations, we will be adding more flights in the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board as we continue our journey towards a more robust fleet and service delivery."The airline is also set to strengthen its fleet with the induction of 10 new aircraft by November. As part of its regional connectivity efforts, SpiceJet recently began UDAN flights linking Shivamogga in Karnataka with Chennai and Hyderabad. Furthermore, the airline introduced double daily services between Chennai and Kochi, addressing the high demand for travel between these two hubs.With its fleet ungrounding process gaining momentum, SpiceJet plans to add even more flights in the coming weeks to meet growing passenger needs.
