Mumbai: Capital is no longer a constraint but the true challenge lies in deploying capital effectively, Gautam Adani, chairperson of Adani Group, told employees in an internal New Year's Eve communication. He said that in 2025, the focus for the company will be on technological advancements and talent."Capital is no longer our constraint. Our true challenge lies in deploying our capital effectively. To overcome this, we must prioritise the two Ts that serve as the most sustainable differentiators in today's world-technology and talent," Adani said.Adani Energy Solutions raised $1 billion through QIP in July and in October, Adani Enterprises raised $500 million. Adani Green in September said its board approved definitive agreements for a further $444-million investment from TotalEnergies to form a JV with the company. AEL is also in the process of raising another $2 billion by exiting its 25-year-old JV with Wilmar International.Speaking about the potential of talent, Adani said, "The war for talent is the defining challenge of our times, and it will determine our long-term success. Talent is not about mere resumes or credentials-it is about the drive to adapt, innovate and lead." He added that the Gujarat-headquartered company is "doubling down" to build "a powerhouse of potential". According to the company website, Adani Group globally has over 46,000 employees.The group also plans to introduce internal job rotations and training programs. Additionally, Adani said the company is amping campus recruitment efforts at premier institutions and establishing engineering and management career tracks. "At our core, we are fearless fighters, and it is through these battles that we continue to evolve and excel. The storms of 2024 further augmented our spirit. And today, we stand taller because of your unwavering dedication and relentless passion," he added.
