Rockets are becoming old-fashioned, China building hypersonic railgun

China plans to employ the electromagnetic railgun to catapult spacecraft equivalent in size to a Boeing 737, with a mass of 50 tonnes, directly into space. China's ambitious project involves the utilization of a massive electromagnetic track designed to accelerate a hypersonic vehicle to Mach 1.6, enabling the craft to separate, ignite its engine, and ascend into near space at velocities seven times faster than sound.

Pak thwarts attack on CPEC’s Gwadar port, 7 militants killed

Baloch separatists attacked Pakistan's Gwadar Port Authority Complex, linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Seven assailants were killed in the attack. 2 Pak students get death penalty for killing teacher over 'blasphemy'

Three female seminary students, Razia Hanfi, Ayesha Naumani, and Umra Aman, have been sentenced for the murder of their teacher, Safoora Bibi, on blasphemy charges in northwestern Pakistan. IMF, Pak reach staff-level agreement for $1.1 billion loan

Khalistan supporter jailed for stabbing 3 with kirpan in UK

Khalistan supporter Gurpreet Singh, 26, has been sentenced to 28 months in jail for stabbing two Indian-origin men and a female police officer with a kirpan during last year's Indian Independence Day celebrations in Southall.
