Upon his arrival in Tel Aviv for a two-day tour of the Middle East, Rishi Sunak conveyed the UK's solidarity with Israel and emphasized the need to prevent the further escalation of violence. During his visit, the prime minister will engage in discussions with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, and President Isaac Herzog. This trip, commencing on Thursday, October 19, is anticipated to include visits to other regional capitals.
After touching down, PM Sunak addressed the situation, saying, "You have endured an indescribable, dreadful act of terrorism, and I want you to understand that the United Kingdom and I stand beside you."
