Vulnerable populations, such as infants, the elderly, and individuals with chronic illnesses, are particularly at risk. It is advised to avoid heat exposure, stay cool, and prevent dehydration. Drinking sufficient water, even when not thirsty, and consuming oral rehydration solutions (ORS) or homemade drinks like lassi, torani (rice water), lemon water, and buttermilk can help maintain hydration.
