More than five years ago on an April evening, cash-starved Jet Airways announced temporary grounding of operations after flying as a full service airline for 25 years. Since then, more than 20,000 jobs and money worth thousands of crores owed to lenders, vendors and passengers evaporated while awaiting an insolvency resolution. Tech view: Nifty forms long negative candle, minor dips towards 23,800 expected. How to trade tomorrow

A long negative candle was formed on the Nifty daily chart on Thursday after the upside bounce of the last two sessions. The crucial overhead resistance of 24,500 remained intact and the market was not able to sustain above the resistance area. Irdai proposes to amend sandbox norms

Regulator Irdai has proposed to amend the norms related to 'regulatory sandbox' by incorporating principle-based approach and further facilitate adoption of innovative ideas and new concepts across the insurance value chain. Regulatory sandbox usually refers to live testing of new products or services in a controlled/test regulatory environment for which regulators may or may not permit certain relaxations.
