New York man killed by a group of dogs in backyard

A 59-year-old man was killed by a group of dogs in Schenectady. Officers found James Provost being attacked by eight to nine mixed-breed pit bull dogs and one officer discharged his weapon to stop the attack. Authorities removed 24 dogs from the residence.

Kansas University staff on camera says males who don't vote for Kamala Harris should be shot

A Kansas University professor was placed on administrative leave after a recorded class session in which he suggested men who wouldn't vote for a female president should be shot. The instructor expressed deep regret, and the university said it is investigating the incident placing the instructor on leave. "His intent was to emphasize his advocacy for women's rights and equality, and he recognizes he did a very poor job of doing so. The university has an established process for situations like this and will follow that process," the university said.

Turkey moves to evacuate nationals from Lebanon
